The shelter has a compassionate staff of workers which works hard to maintain an efficient and clean shelter.

The shelter is responsible for maintaining the PetFinder website by posting every day the animals that we take in, in order to connect them to their owner and get them adopted out in a timely manner.

They also have to attend court for various cases involving Animal Ordinances.

Our cats and dogs are housed in separate buildings now to provide better accommodations for the animals; I am very proud of our shelter- it has come a long way from the 4-kennel building we were once housed in.

Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  

Special Services Hours

Mon- Fri 11am- 3pm for intakes and 12pm-5am for adoptions.

Saturday are the same Intake hours; however, adoptions are 8am-4pm.

Sunday is adoptions only, hours are 8am-4pm

Owner Surrenders are by appointment only.
